Meet Killer Queen Black Community Caster, AG

Coming to KQB from the Killer Queen arcade world, AG is an OG! Having started casting for KQ in March of 2015, it was obvious that our beloved arcade community personality cast KQB too!

AG’s been casting KQB since January of 2020 when we first debuted in Indy Gaming League’s Winter Circuit. You can catch AG featuring rotating co-casters, with recent partners like Nubs, Penguin, and Woody, or hit the archives for co-casts from earlier seasons/weekend events with CaptTyler13, lightsabermetrics, and Yeesh. An official IGL Caster, don’t hesitate to connect with AG for pro tips or co-casting!

We had more questions for AG, here’s what he had to say.

KQB: What games do you cast?

AG: Mostly KQB and KQA. I did an IGL MageQuit singles match between Penguin and Sgt. Spankcakes, and that was a lot of fun. I also tried my hand at a game of Super Mega Baseball 3 between some friends a few months back.

KQB: What inspired you to get into casting?

AG: I love sports and I thought it would be neat to try something that’s prevalent in that area in another favorite interest of mine, video games. Providing viewers and players watching later with an informative and fun broadcast is something I strive to achieve because that’s what I would like for my own matches.

KQB: What games do you play?

AG: Quite a few these days. I’m in IGL circuits for Rocket League and MageQuit, as well as KQB. The current rotation generally also includes Fall Guys, Crusader Kings III, Among Us, and Hades. I still check on my Animal Crossing island and dabble in Wonderful 101, Steamworld Heist, and Enter the Gungeon on my Switch. Now that FIFA 21 is out I’ll be playing quite a bit of that, too.

KQB: What’s something about your casting style that makes your streams unique?

AG: That’s a tough question, something that probably viewers could answer better than me. But I do think I have a wealth of knowledge about the game and community, especially the relationship between KQA and KQB, since I’ve been around for a long time now and have been fortunate to be part of planning events, seeding committees, etc.

KQB: What’s a favorite casting memory of yours?

AG: There have been some wild plays, but outside of my trip to the refrigerator for some water and my computer having low disk space, it is probably that clip of LobsterBuster finishing off a Helix map in about 15 seconds with some unreal berry throws.

KQB: When you aren’t gaming or casting you’re?

AG: Talking to my cat, Walter. Hanging out with my partner Lauren. Watching shows/sports, fantasy baseball/basketball/football, working, trying to get some exercise.

KQB: What animal is your kindred spirit?

AG: “Maybe an owl, or a dolphin” – Lauren

KQB: Is there anything else we should know?

AG: The KQB community is great, and I try to put time and effort into each cast that I do because the players deserve them. Please reach out if you’d like me to cast a match or jump in with me in the booth!

Hi Lauren and Walter – thanks for supporting AG’s streams! Looking for a caster? AG’s your guy!
